What's up people! My name is Jaipal, and today (or what should have been tomorrow) I'll tell you about the remaining teams in the playoffs. Comments, seriously.
Anyways, the first game of the day was between the Indiana Pacers and the Atlanta Hawks. I have the Pacers winning the whole playoff thing. The reason being Paul George. As you saw in the first game, the man had a triple-double, the second Pacer ever to do so in franchise history during the playoffs, with Mark Jackson being the first. Now all the Pacer starters had double figures that day. The Hawks just can't compete with the Pacers offense. Josh Smith is a phenomenal power forward (plus their leading scorer), but their playmaker, Jeff Teague, is the worst point guard in the NBA. He's fast, but he sucks just as much as he is fast. George Hill, the point guard for the Pacers, is phenomenal. For those of you who don't know, the Pacers acquired George Hill with a trade with the San Antonio Spurs (the Pacers traded Kawhi Leonard).
The second game of the day was between the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Spurs won that game with ease. The Lakers don't have Kobe, their leader and their leading scorer. The Lakers can't compensate with Tony Parker's ability to make plays, and they can't compensate with Tim Duncan's, Manu Ginobili's, and Kawhi Leonard's ability to finish those plays. The coach for the Spurs, Greg Paplovich, is one of the best coaches in the league, and his strategy is called "Hack at Howard." He tries to foul Howard and send him to the line, and we all know his ability to shoot free throws. It's actually pretty funny. The Lakers have to be able to find a way to score the ball easily without Kobe. That means Pau Gasol is going to have to step up. I hate Pau, but I love Marc.
The third game of the day was between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat. We all know who's going to win this series. That comment by Brandon Jennings that the Bucks will last six games is total BS. There is no way the Bucks won't end up getting swept. LeBron should just bring a broom along with him to the 4th game in Milwaukee.
The fourth game of the day was between the Oklahoma City Thunder and my team, the Houston Rockets! Sadly, the Rockets lost. I knew that this was going to happen, and the Rockets do too. I'm not telling them to give up, but they can't face the might of Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook. James Harden is a beast, but he can't compensate for the fact that the Rockets have the worst center in the league, Omar Asik. Free throws aren't his strong suit. Hell, nothing is his strong suit except for sucking, I guess. I really hope we acquire an amazing center from the draft, like Juvonte Reddic from VCU. He'd be perfect.
Thanks for viewing guys. I know I didn't go into as much depth as I usually do, but I'll make it up to you. The next thing I'm going to do is an individual segment on each team in the playoffs, starting with the teams that are going to lose and slowly working my way to the top. Adios!
