What's up people! I am here, at your service, to tell you what you need to know about the NBA, the standings, and any info on any team. Yes, even the Charlotte Bobcats.
A little bit about me? My favorite team are the Houston Rockets, so don't be surprised if I show a little bias towards them. My favorite player has always been and always will be James Harden. I love him. The dude is a boss, I mean who else can sport a beard like that in the NBA by choice!? Although he looks a bit Amish, the man can play ball. He was a lottery pick in the 2009 NBA draft and was drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder. He had talent. Even won the Sixth Man of the Year award in the 2011-12 season. Then he got traded during the off-season and went to the Rockets. I was kinda sad, but boy did Harden show what a mistake OKC made trading him. In his first few games, he was scoring 40+ points, although he didn't maintain that scoring extravaganza. Partnered up with Jeremy Lin, an amazing point guard, and Chandler Parsons, one of their leading scorers, I believe the Rockets will show perseverence in the San Antonio and Houston series in the playoffs.
My least favorite team are the Los Angeles Lakers (I heart the Clippers though). Currently the 8th seed in the West, the Lakers looked like they were on a good run and might've actually provided a challenge to OKC, currently the 1st seed in the West. But then Kobe ruptured his achilles (out for 6-9 months)! I was actually kind of glad. Don't get me wrong, I love Bryant and what he offers to the league, but I'm tired of seeing the same-old same-old. If you are one of those atypical Laker bandwagons who think that the Lakers won't be able to have a stellar performance, I am about to slap you in the face! The Lakers have a player who averages the most rebounds per game in the NBA and an old-fashioned, yet consistent, point guard who can offer more than assists and points. Dwight Howard is awesome. He is a fun-loving guy and wants to win games/championships. And Nash? Nash is a point guard who is great at steals. He can force turnovers and allow for an amazing performance in the transition offense and defense. If you think Dwight Howard sucks just because free throws aren't one of his strong suits, just look at DeAndre Jordan, the center for the Los Angeles Clippers. Worst free throw percentage in the NBA. He is still awesome with his monster jams and Have Some! blocks.
Like I said, I hope this post appeals to your better nature and that you may leave some comments on what I can do better next time. I will talk to you about any team, be it the Nuggets, the Pistons, the Pacers, etc. I am here for the people!
